Leaf’s Baseball Card Sets Show Autographs, Top Prospects

Leaf Trading Cards is set to unveil two highly anticipated baseball card collections packed with autographs, exclusive inserts, and top MLB prospects. These releases are a must-have for any baseball card collector looking to score unique cards from the next generation of baseball stars.

Leaf Metal, scheduled for release this Friday, October 25, offers enthusiasts the chance to grab Hobby and Jumbo Boxes filled with baseball treasures. The Hobby Box boasts seven cards, including four prized autographs, two base/parallel cards, and an exclusive “mojo auto.” On the other hand, the Jumbo Box contains 14 cards, with highlights such as eight autographs, four base/parallel cards, a distinctive “pulsar auto” exclusive to the Jumbo Box, and a coveted “slabbed auto proof.” All autographs and base parallel cards in the Leaf Metal collection are limited to just 35 or fewer copies.

A standout card in Leaf Metal is the triple autograph featuring the top three picks of the 2024 MLB Draft: Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns. Fans can also look forward to autographs from rising stars like Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, and Konnor Griffin. The collection includes Baseball America’s top-ranked prospect, Roman Anthony, showcased in the nostalgic “91 Leaf” insert set, paying homage to a classic Leaf series. Other notable prospects in Leaf Metal are Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, Coby Mayo, and potential future draftee Ethan Holliday. The lineup is completed by rookies and recent graduates such as Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood.

Following Leaf Metal, Leaf Press Pass Premium is set to drop on November 8, offering premium boxes containing six base cards and parallels, along with a whopping five autographs. To add to the exclusivity of the set, one autograph per box is limited to just 25 copies or fewer. This collection features a 100-card base set and a retro 100-card base set, each boasting eight parallels limited to 35 or fewer copies.

Fans will be thrilled to see autographs from 2024 draftees like Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, and Burns in the Leaf Press Pass Premium collection. The set also includes future prospects such as Ethan Holliday and veteran stars like Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan. Autographs in the base set are limited to 199 copies or fewer, while retro base autographs are capped at 49 copies or fewer. Adding to the allure of the release is the “Press Box Signatures” insert which features legendary names like John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully.

Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available for purchase on Leaf’s website and at major card retailers. These sets promise to deliver a stunning array of talent, from promising rookies to established veterans, making them a valuable addition to any baseball card collection.
